This past week, I discovered a couple of cool things pertaining to my home city…

1) If you are like me and you enjoy indulging in some “Pop” music every now and then (there’s no shame in that…seriously), check out AMP 97.1FM. It is a new radio station that plays 10,000 of the most current songs continuously with no commercials. Yes, I said, 10,000!!!

2) This website http://www.lacantdrive.com/ is awesome and is the answer to my road rage incident last week (see below). “L.A. Can’t Drive” encourages drivers to take pictures or video footage of grossly negligent drivers in L.A. and submit them to their website. The owner of the site then critiques the footage and rates it according to an Idiocy Meter and an As*hole Meter. On a positive note, the site wholly discourages road rage and has scary stories to prove why they do! One lady recounted her story where she raged back against a car that almost hit her. Then the other driver chased her around the city, threw something at her car, and broke her back window. It’s a jungle out there. Be careful, fellow Angelenos.
