Here is a fabulous flowers concept that I found while reading a favorite blog, The Bride’s Cafe. I think we are mostly in agreement that flowers are a big part of any wedding day. God knows I’ve thought about flowers way more than I should be thinking about them.
What about potted plants as centerpieces? The sad part about fresh cut flowers is that in a few days time they wilt and die. But these potted centerpieces can be re-potted and enjoyed for a long time to come. I love how fresh and natural they make the table look. I’m also coveting those candle holders. So gorgeous.

I like the tall chancelier-style candle holders. At night, that would probably give an amazing glow to the room

(Yes, I know the point was about the sustainability and symbolism of potted plants, but I fixated on the candles!)

I agree about the candle holders. You should consider something like that for your reception/dance room. (My venue has this strict fire code…so I’m sure they would have a heart attack if I suggested them for our venue). Funny, I actually thought of you when I saw the candle holders 🙂
