Despite the fact that LA weather doesn’t lend itself to actual seasons, I tend to change fabrics and color palettes according to the time of year. With the time change and the first day of spring upon us (March 20th), I am looking forward to refreshing my closet.

You don’t have to be a mom to wear these outfits, but I’ve found I have a mom uniform during the week that consists of easy to wear clothes that can be washed/dried without any fuss and shoes I can slide on and off at lightning speed. I still enjoy looking somewhat pulled together, if possible, and I am on the hunt for some new pieces as we head into warmer weather.

My motto remains whatever is simple, neutral, and comfortable.

Current Shopping List:

• New sandals (possibly Birkenstocks. Did I really just write that? I never owned a pair even when most of my friends had them in junior high. I’m tempted to give them a try mostly due to comfort.)
• Jean jacket
• Light, airy blouses (my obsession)
• New light denim skinny jeans
