When I decided to try my hand at putting together an outfit in honor of Valentine’s Day, it made me quite nervous. As an adult, I’m not a big fan of frills. I used to be as a little girl, but somewhere along the way, I kinda lost that fun side. It makes me a little sad to think of how colorless and plain my style has become!
Yet, I was able to find the one (literally, one) pink item in my closet and use it as the centerpiece for this outfit. Also, little Henry makes an appearance in this post because this week marks ONE YEAR since we brought him home from Marley’s Pit Stop Rescue. We love him to bits, and he’s been such a perfect addition to our family.

I like that your puppy matches your outfit. 🙂

Compared to my t-shirts and jeans, you have a wonderful fairly girly feminine style! Henry is awesome. 🙂

You look like a J. Crew model, you're so dang gorgeous. Also, can I have your hair? Mine refuses to shine like that.

1st – you are GORGEOUS! 2nd – Henry melts my hears. 3rd – those boots are AWESOME with that flirty little pink dress! 4th – I have 3 new Valentine's-esque outfits that I need to choose from for our brunch this weekend. Do I go sweet or sexy? Now I know I can do both, as evidenced by this outfit!
