Yesterday was a nice, peaceful day. We had a Memorial Day BBQ, and watched an amazing (and very sad) HBO documentary called Section 60: Arlington National Cemetery. The documentary is a couple of years old, but I had never seen it. It gives glimpses into the lives and losses of family members and friends visiting the graves of their loved ones who died fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. L and I used to live right next to Arlington Cemetery and visited it often. It’s a sacred place.

This is going to be an awesome month (I hope)! Our seven year dating anniversary, and our one year wedding anniversary are coming up. Also, I am in the process of scheduling my second blog giveaway! Fun stuff ahead.
