I don’t know about you, but I am more than ready for the WEEKEND!! Even though the forecast is rainy, I am in desperate need of some free time. There are a few wedding tasks to be had, but otherwise, I hope to relax a bit. Oh, and there is also that semi-holiday we like to call, Valentine’s Day!! I always enjoy Valentine’s Day for the simple fact that it is a day to love and be loved. I have many fond memories of my dad taking his girls out (my mom and I) for Valentine’s Day dinners. It was his annual treat. He is not an overly sentimental guy. He is not even a particularly thoughtful guy (sorry, dad, you aren’t!) But, for some reason, he always remembered to pamper his girls on Valentine’s Day. For that reason, the day holds a special place in my heart.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

p.s. To my dear blog twin, Krista, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Happy Val Day to you as well.
We’re gonna hole up in our place and try to beat back any polar bears that may wander down in all this snow.

Thanks, sweetie. It was good news, but not great news: it is treatable – there is a treatment that can stop growth and sometimes shrink the cancer, but nothing that can completely kill / cure the cancer. But, it’s better than the other option.
