I’m taking a mental health day!

Currently, I am working on living my most fulfilled life. I need a break from things that don’t really affect me, yet I’ve somehow prioritized them to the front of the line. The online world can do that. I love the Internet, but man, sometimes we need to go our separate ways for awhile.

If you have a chance, take a moment to think about what is affecting you right now. Is it something that won’t change despite all your worrying? Is it something that doesn’t really involve you? Is it something that happened in the past and is therefore old news?
It’s not worth your time right now! Enjoy living in the moment for a bit.

    I love mental health days and use to take them when I had separate sick time and vacation time. Now my time is PTO time and I'm saving it all for vacation days! Haha! But letting things go is always good and good to remind ourselves a lot!

    Such wise words.
    I have found that I have been gaining a bit of perspective since getting pregnant. I am looking at all the "junk" that I carry with me that I want to let go.
    I am currently taking a counseling class and I loved this quote that I learned last week.
