This Tuesday afternoon, October 27th, I will check in for my minor surgery. It was quite the circus act trying to schedule this procedure. Either UCLA lacks a scheduling system that makes sense or my surgeon works 1 day every other month, or perhaps both? But ultimately I am thankful I secured an appointment. I hope to return with details of my procedure, and a little more background about my issues. I have gotten a few requests over the past couple of months to talk about things. I am definitely open to it. But, for some reason, I’ve felt I need some answers before I can piece together a cohesive post about what I have been going through. I am aware that many of you might not want to read downtrodden, scary recounts of health problems, but I believe (hope) that it can be of some assistance to others who feel scared, are having symptoms, or are considering seeing a doctor. Women’s health can be such a delicate, private subject. It isn’t always talked about, and it totally should be! Our health experiences are ours and ours alone. But through sharing, even what little I have shared, I seem to have found a bit of freedom. I have also felt a great sense of comfort and support from the blogging world. Thank you all for following me on this interesting journey. I’ll be back later to resume my blogging. Until then, I’ve scheduled some posts with more pretty pictures from my Oregon Fall Getaway series.

Good luck. Like I said when you first posted about this health issue, the worst part is when you don't know what's going on. Once you have a diagnosis or a solution, you can deal with it. And though surgery is scary (I mean, really, is there such a thing as minor surgery?), at least it's a solution.

Focus on the positive, and I look forward to reading your post-surgery blog posts. If you need anything, facebook me! 🙂
