My last post revealed the pretty, little thing that will serve as my official wedding headpiece! I’m so excited about it because its girly and sparkly, and I have never owned anything like it. So onto the “voting”.

To refresh your memory…my selected Naugi.com headpiece:

On the big day, I will probably be wearing a veil and some type of fake or fresh flower in my hair for the ceremony. For the reception, I plan to whip out my headpiece and attempt to look all vintage-inspired and stylish. The key word here is “attempt”. My chosen hairstyle is a romantic, loose updo. Kinda like this picture below, but more loose and free.
My question: How should I wear this beautiful piece? (Please excuse my ginormous head and funny looking hair. I quickly pulled my hair up just to give the effect of an updo.)Option 1: Up front, to the side.

Option 2: Further back, and to the other side. (Only one picture because you pretty much can’t see it from the “front view”.)

Option 3: Fastened to the back of my updo. (Forgive me, I didn’t get any pictures of this option, as I quickly found out that one can’t accurately take pictures of the back of one’s head. But this option was suggested by the woman who will do my wedding day hair.)

I feel like I am giving you lop-sided options, especially because Option 3 doesn’t contain any pictures. But, hopefully, you get a vague idea of what it might look like.
What do you all think? Or maybe you don’t like any of these options and have a different concept in mind? Please share!

I love that hairpiece! So cute and unique! It has adds just the right amount of sparkle without being too overtop. I also like that is has a headband-like quality.

Oops I forgot to add, I like Option 1. It’s very vintage with that style.

I like options 2 or 3 – from the back (either to the side as in option 2 or all the way back as in option 3). I’m all about the view from behind (i.e. your guests watching you as you take your vows).

I like option 3 too, not that the other two are bad.. it’s kinda like picking the best out of some really good options, so you won’t lose either way… that headpiece is FABULOUS!

#3 is great. If you get into a veil, here’s my suggestion: a drop veil tacked onto a bun, falling in a swirl down your back. Then you can just take it off come reception time

I love love love your choice! I like option 1 best, but I think it’s going to look amazing regardless!

#1 seems the most vintage-y to me…but you’ll look beautiful either way–you have the goods to work with (aka-beautiful face)! 🙂
