…and it worked! I read an interesting post on Weddingbee’s new sister site, WeddingbeePRO about how to take pictures of your wedding band and engagement ring. WeddingbeePRO is comprised of bloggers who are all wedding professionals within the industry. Their behind-the-scenes perspectives are proving to be super fun and helpful, too!

Check out Anne Ruthmann’s post on taking pictures of your ring. I had a few spare minutes to play around with my own ring. Here’s what happened when I used our Samsung point and shoot to snap a couple of pics.

This one was one of my favorites. Mostly because it wasn’t blurry!

I went crazy with the “contrast” option when editing this one. I wanted to try and achieve a funky, more edgy photographic style. (Listen to me trying to sound like I know what I’m talking about! Hahaha!)

I had so much fun doing this and it wasn’t hard at all. Give it a try…you’ll feel like a pro! Thanks, Anne Ruthmann of Anne Ruthmann Photography.

Ooh a very pretty picture. I took my own stab at doing a wedding ring shoot:

My trick was to just take lots and lots of pictures. I may have to try some of those weddingbee tips.

These turned out terrific! Is this post going to be included on WB? I hope so! It does your ring much more justice than the last pic you shared…but really, it can be such a pain to get a good picture. You made me an Anne Ruthmann believer! 😉

This is good info because I have been trying to take a decent shot of my ring for who knows how long. They come out so freaking blurry that I always erase them. I will check this site out to see if I can finally get a good picture. Thanks!
