It’s important for me to attempt to look decent during my days as a stay-at-home mom. (I said “attempt”.) While I definitely had tons of yoga pants/t-shirt/hair up days during K’s infancy, I am trying not to make it a habit now that K is a toddler. I focus on basic pieces that can be mixed and matched easily. Here is a simple outfit I wore over the weekend for a day of outlet shopping.

I’ve been wearing some version of army green cropped pants for years. You can tell me the trend is over, but I don’t want to hear it. They match everything, do not need to be ironed, can take the wear and tear of greasy toddler fingers, and are super comfortable. To me, that’s a win.

What I’m Wearing

Ruche Pandora Printed Blouse {So very sad that Ruche is closing its doors. I’ve been a customer since they opened. I bought this blouse discounted during their Farewell Sale.}
Sanctuary Cropped Pant {Mine are old, but I have my eye on these.}
Tory Burch ‘Miller’ Flip Flops

In case you were wondering, I’m not using K as a photo prop. I really do carry her a lot. Since she turned two and continues to get heavier, we are working on encouraging her to walk more and more. I have had some issues with my wrists and forearms due to carrying her, but, as you can see, old habits die hard and it’s difficult not to pick her up when she asks. Did I mention I’m a pushover mom? See this post. I swear I’m working on it.

K is wearing the cutest romper ever from Gap Kids and Native slip-ons.

    You two are so stylish! I also have wrist pain from baby. I have a terrible locking thumb 🙁

      I think technically we need physical therapy for our various baby-related aches and pains. How are you feeling these days? Has the dizziness/fog gotten any better? xo
